Children’s Summer Reading Program
‘The Atheneum Children’s Summer Reading Program runs from June 20 to August 15. This year’s theme is “Dream Big Read”, Registration will be held from 2 – 6 p.m. on June 20 in the garden. Readers ages preschool – Grade 6 will receive a book bag, reading passport and other small prizes, to begin their summer reading journey.
This FREE program runs for 9 weeks. Summer Readers keep track of the books they have read and will receive points and prizes at the end of the summer, based on how many book they have read. In addition there will be programs for children and families all through the summer that incorporate this year’s international theme. Please check the calendar for details.
Teen Summer Reading Program
Teen Summer readers in Grades 7 through 12 register and record their reading time online. This FREE program runs for 9 weeks, ending on August 15th.
