Why
Donate?
The
Nantucket Atheneum serves as the community's public library.
However:
- We
traditionally receive only 30% of our funding from the
Town of Nantucket. We therefore rely on our Annual Appeal
and other donations from individuals and private foundations
to help us close the funding gap.
- We
need to build up our endowment to ensure that we will
be able to serve the community's needs for many years
to come.
