Newsbank provides Atheneum library cardholders online access to issues of the Nantucket Independent (March 2, 2005 to present web-based articles) and The Cape Cod Times (11/1/1998 to present), as well as The Worcester Telegraph and The Springfield Republican as well as several national magazines. Entries are full text articles and can be searched on a variety of criteria, including date, key words or all the text.

The statewide Virtual Catalog makes locating and requesting materials from nearly 60 different online library catalogs in Massachusetts easy (and less overwhelming). Connect to the virtual catalog and request items with your CLAMS library card number, which will be sent from other libraries to the Atheneum.
