Reference Collection

The Reference Department is located on the second floor of the Atheneum in the Great Hall. We have a general reference collection of print and non-print resources as well as specialized Nantucket reference and genealogy. Online databases are available in the Great Hall and through home computer access to CLAMS card holders. Go to our Programs & Services page to find out more about our services.

The Reference staff will be happy to help you find the books and information you need. We are part of the CLAMS ( Cape Libraries Automated Materials Sharing) network and get daily deliveries of materials from the consortium and beyond.

Public computers are located in the Great Hall Reference Department. We offer both PC workstations and laptops for use in the Great Hall only. Please see our page in the Programs & Services section to find out more.
