2010 Annual
Meeting Notice

The Annual Meeting of the members of the Nantucket Atheneum will be held on Wednesday, June 23, 2010 at 4:00 p.m. in the Atheneum’s Great Hall at One India Street.

Election of Trustees will take place at this meeting. The nominees are:

Susan Boardman, Alice F. Emerson, Barbara J. Fife, Jeanne Casey Miller,
Anne Phaneuf, William G. Spears, Marcia P. Welch and Jay M. Wilson

Other items on the agenda include reports from the Chairman of the Board, the Treasurer and the Executive Director. A vote on the recommendation from the Trustees to amend the Articles of Organization of the Nantucket Atheneum and the budget for Fiscal Year 2011 will be also be presented. The Trustees amended the Bylaws in 2009 to change provisions relating to officers and otherwise to conform to practices of non-profit corporations and Massachusetts law.
